Does e-inclusion lead to social inclusion, automatically?
The answer to this question is not static. The generation that was introduced to email and the internet before the browser in 1993 (Mosdaic) were mostly students graduating in the (late) eighties, used to dealing with (large) amounts of data and information, contextualized by theories, institutional frameworks and face to face contact with teachers. For this generation e-inclusion was synonymous with social inclusion. It got them jobs, reputations and practical knowledge that could be capitalized upon.Read more

They will only act on the basis of 'impact assessments'. The key EU policy for youth at risk framework addressing ict initiatives is 2.3 % of 16 billion EU research funds.Read more
