Ben Schouten

Ben Schouten is the project chief for SHARE IT at Fontys. Ben graduated from the Rietveld Art Academy in 1983 and worked as a professional artist. He found himself interested in patterns and iconography, and after travelling in the Magreb and studying number theory he rediscovered his fascination for mathematics. He received his master's degree in mathematics, specializing in chaos theory, in August 1995.  In 1996 Ben Schouten founded Desk.nl, an Application Software Provider, providing  innovative internet related solutions to a wide range of customers. Since 2008 he is lector Ambient Intelligence & Design and Serious Game Design at Fontys Hogescholen, Eindhoven. His group focuses on multimodal interaction and ambient game design in intelligent systems.

Giovanni Zorzi

Giovanni Zorzi is Project Officer of the City of Venice for SHAREIT Subproject. He works at the European and International Policies Department and is responsible for the administrative and financial procedures concerning the implementation of projectactivities.The European and International Policies Department has been established in year 2000 to manage all international and European projects the City of Venice is involved in  and the international relations the City of Venice keeps with foreign partners, Cities and Bodies. The European and International Policies Department acts by promoting initiatives and projects in priority areas for the growth of the City and of the local community: urban regeneration; social inclusion, culture and intercultural dialogue, human rights and environment and sustainable development.

Rob van Kranenburg

Rob van Kranenburg is projectmanager of SHARE IT. He works parttime for the Lectoraat Ambient Intelligence of Fontys Applied Sciences. He has been mainly active in the Internet of Things. He founded Council, a Thinktank for the Internet of Things and co-founded Bricolabs, bottom up open hardware and open thinking toward a more balanced and just networked society.
